Team Spirit在去年成功举办利雅得大师赛2022后，合作主办方Gamers8宣布Gamers8 2023将在夏天回归[1]。作为其中的重头，利雅得大师赛2023也将回归，同时总奖金池也更加庞大，达到了$15,000,000。

- 赛事时间预计2023年7月19日 - 30日。
- 赛事为线下赛，地点为利雅得。
- 比赛版本为7.33e，服务器为迪拜。
- 赞助商为：沙特阿拉伯游戏集团、
安利捷（ ）、KFC、沙特投资银行、Sulaiman Al Habib医疗集团、Spotify、百事可乐零度、荣耀、LG、阿迪达斯、OSN、希尔顿、万事达卡、Cenomi、多力多滋、stcplay、雷蛇、沙特阿美公司。 - 赛事主题曲为《GG Geena》。
赛事规则
- 参赛队伍
- 共20支参赛队伍。
- 八支战队直接进入小组赛阶段。
- 十二支战队进入晋级赛阶段。
- 其中十一支战队基于ESL的EPT[2]积分系统，其中六大赛区至少会有一支战队晋级。
- 一支战队会来自于中东和北非地区（MENA）的预选赛。
- 晋级赛阶段
- 时间为2023年7月19日 - 20日。
- 每组六支战队单循环BO2赛事。
- 每个小组的前两名晋级小组赛。
- 每小组三至六名进行加赛。
- 小组第三名 vs 小组第六名，小组第四名 vs 小组第五名，与对面的组进行比赛。
- 胜者进入小组赛，败者淘汰。
- 小组赛阶段
- 时间为2023年7月21日 - 24日。
- 十六支战队两个小组单循环BO2。
- 每小组前四名进入淘汰赛胜者组。
- 每小组五六名进入淘汰赛败者组。
- 剩余队伍淘汰。
- 涉及到加赛
- 若涉及到关键加赛，两队BO3，三队BO1循环。
- 若涉及到不关键加赛，主要使用Neustadtl积分、相对战绩等来决定排名。

- 第一轮胜者组对阵为第一名 vs 第四名，第二名 vs 第三名。

- 四支战队（两支邀请，两支来自公开预选赛）。

直邀晋级赛战队
7月7日，在巴厘岛Major正在进行的时候，利雅得大师赛主办方Gamers8宣布了利雅得大师赛2023参赛名单，除去直邀至小组赛阶段的战队外，以下为直邀至晋级赛阶段的队伍[10]。后主办方删除。- 7月13日，利雅得大师赛主办方Gamers8宣布了利雅得大师赛2023参赛名单[11]。

共有十二支队伍将在第一小组赛阶段——即突围赛阶段开启他们的利雅得大师赛征程。首支通过中东及北非赛区预选晋级的队伍是Quest Esports。
其余十一个席位将根据各赛区的EPT排名进行分配，该排名仅用于衡量同赛区内的队伍名次。每个赛区自动获得一个固定席位，由该赛区未晋级队伍中排名最高者获得。这些席位分别分配给9Pandas、beastcoast、Execration、Team Aster、Team Liquid和TSM。
最后五个席位依据ELO评分分配给各赛区，但会排除每个赛区顶部的若干队伍。排除数量的计算方式是该赛区已晋级利雅得大师赛的队伍数减一。
因此，中国、北美、南美、东南亚赛区仅排除排名第一的队伍，西欧赛区排除前三名，东欧赛区排除前两名。在排除这些队伍后，ELO评分最高的赛区获得首个席位，并在确定下一个席位时再排除该赛区的一支队伍。
此流程重复直至所有席位分配完毕——本次分配结果为西欧赛区获得三席，中国赛区与东欧赛区各获一席。这些席位将授予各赛区EPT排名中未晋级的最高位队伍：西欧赛区的OG、Entity和Team Secret，中国赛区的Xtreme Gaming，以及东欧赛区的Virtus.pro。英文原文
Twelve teams start their Riyadh Masters campaign in Group Stage 1, otherwise known as the Play-Ins. The first team, qualified via the MENA qualifier, is Quest Esports.
The remaining eleven slots are awarded using our Regional EPT Rankings, which are only used to rank teams within their own region. Each region is automatically assigned one of these slots, to be awarded to their highest ranked team that isn't already qualified. These slots go to 9Pandas, beastcoast, Execration, Team Aster, Team Liquid, and TSM.
The final five slots are allocated to regions based on an ELO rating, but ignoring a number of teams at the top of each region. This number is calculated by subtracting 1 from the number of teams that region already has qualified for Riyadh Masters.
As a result, only the #1 team from CN, NA, SA, and SEA are ignored, while the top 3 teams are ignored in WEU and top 2 ignored in EEU. With those ignored, the region with highest ELO receives the first slot, and has another team ignored when determining the next slot.
This process repeats until all slots are allocated - in this case, three to WEU, one to CN, and one to EEU. These are awarded to the next highest ranked teams, in the Regional EPT Rankings, that aren't already qualified: OG, Entity, and Team Secret in WEU, Xtreme Gaming in CN, and Virtus.pro in EEU.晋级晋级赛EPT积分榜

邀请情况说明
- 梦幻联赛S19&梦幻联赛S20的平均成绩排行。
- 除去两届冠军以及本届亚军外平均成绩前五的战队将被直邀至利雅得大师赛 2023小组赛阶段。
- 当平均成绩同分时，先比较同分战队在两个赛季中的最好成绩，最好成绩占优者在前；如果最好成绩依旧相同则比较梦幻联赛S20的成绩。
- 根据HOHO哥的微博[13]，平均成绩前五的邀请资格同时需要满足两届梦幻联赛[S19/S20]均收到邀请。
- PSG.LGD由于签证问题未参与梦幻联赛S19，但仍算被邀请，且在S20排名为多少平均成绩就为多少，由于截止20号PSG.LGD在S20 小组赛第二阶段四战全胜锁定前七，所以被直邀至利雅得大师赛 2023小组赛阶段。
- 这个规则仅限于是不可抗力因素才不能参与比赛的，比如签证，所以液体SROG啥的如果不是欧洲北美战队也许也能直邀了（x）。

轶事
- 本次比赛共出现了两次上高地之后一边集体掉线的情况，第一次为B组小组赛Aster vs. Talon第二盘比赛的58:15处[16]，第二次为淘汰赛败者组第二轮Quest Esports vs. Gaimin Gladiators第一盘比赛的36:07处[17] 。同样的位置，同样的剧情，但是结果却不同
- 本次比赛出现了一场对拆基地，为Talon Esports vs. Team Liquid第三盘比赛的59:32处[18]，这场贡献了两个镜头：孤身一身飞鞋拆基地的zai以及为zai拉扯空间的Boxi和iNSaNiA，和提前摘掉耳机庆祝胜利却因为zai的偷家而输掉比赛的23。甚至还因为提前摘掉耳机导致会收到惩罚
